Design Link — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Interim Operator Note (June 2026). Until incorporation of a successor entity (Design Link LLP, Design Link Pvt Ltd, or equivalent), the Design Link platform is operated by MSCON Design Private Limited (CIN: U70100DL2019PTC343932; GSTIN: 07AAMCM3424B1ZS), having its registered office in Delhi, India. All references to "Design Link" refer to the platform, brand, and trademark of MSCON Design Private Limited. On creation of a successor entity, MSCON Design Private Limited will assign all rights and obligations under this agreement to that successor, with prior written notice to you (see Successor Entity clause in the Terms of Service).
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out conduct prohibited when using the Design Link Service. It supplements and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
Violation is grounds for suspension or termination of your account (per Section 6 and the Terms), and may result in legal action and liability for damages.
2. Prohibited Conduct — General
You shall not, and shall not permit any third party to use the Service to:
2.1 Violate law
- Engage in activity that violates applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Promote, facilitate, or participate in illegal activity (including fraud, money
laundering, narcotics trafficking, human trafficking, terrorism financing)
2.2 Infringe IP or proprietary rights
- Upload, transmit, or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent,
trade secret, or other proprietary right
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or algorithms
2.3 Compromise security
- Attempt unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, systems, or networks
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerability of any system without our prior written consent

- Bypass any security, authentication, rate-limiting, or access control
- Use, distribute, or test malware, exploits, or attack tools
- Engage in DoS / DDoS attacks
- Use the Service as a staging ground for attacks on third parties
2.4 Misuse data
- Access or use data belonging to other Customers (cross-tenant access)
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data by automated means without our prior written
consent
- Use the Service to collect personal data without lawful basis
- Re-identify anonymised or aggregated data
2.5 Disrupt the Service
- Interfere with, degrade, or impair the Service or other Customers' use
- Generate excessive load beyond documented rate limits
- Run automated bots, scripts, or scrapers
- Stress-test or load-test without our prior written consent
2.6 Harm others
- Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or that
incites violence
- Engage in stalking, doxing, or harassment
- Share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report all instances to the National
Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and applicable authorities
- Share non-consensual intimate imagery
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
2.7 Send unsolicited communications
- Send spam, junk mail, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited commercial
communications
- Send phishing, smishing, or vishing communications
- Violate any anti-spam law (including TRAI's Unsolicited Commercial Communications
regulations)
2.8 Misuse resources
- Cryptocurrency mining; unrelated distributed computing
- Host or distribute pirated software, audio, or video
- Use the Service for any purpose other than its intended use as an AEC operations
platform
2.9 Misrepresent identity
- Create an account under a false name or pretence
- Share credentials; allow another person to use your account; use another's account
without authorisation
2.10 Circumvent or abuse free tiers
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse free/trial tiers
- Resell, rent, lease, or share account access
3. Restrictions on Customer-Generated Content
When you upload content, you represent and warrant that: you own or have necessary rights; it does not infringe any third-party right; it is not unlawful (including under Sections 67, 67A, 67B of the IT Act, 2000); it contains no malicious code; you have any necessary consents from individuals depicted; and you process any personal data under a lawful basis.
We do not pre-screen Customer-generated content but reserve the right to review, remove, or refuse to host content that violates this AUP or law.
4. Restrictions on AI-Generated Outputs
When using AI features (e.g., suggested categorisations, draft text, BOQ drafts, recommendations), you shall not: use AI outputs as a substitute for professional engineering, architectural, legal, financial, or medical judgment; pass off AI outputs as exclusively your own where attribution is required; generate disinformation, deepfakes, or deceptive content; or generate content that violates Section 2.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs before use (see the Disclaimers).

- IP infringement (takedown): legal@designlink.in (include URL, identification of
infringing material, contact info, and a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury)
- Grievance: grievance@designlink.in
- CSAM: security@designlink.in AND the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in
Abuse reports (spam, phishing, policy violations) are handled by our security team at security@designlink.in.
We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act within 72 hours where practicable.
6. Consequences of Violation
For violations, we may, proportionate to the violation and without liability: warn; suspend specific features or the account; terminate the account; delete infringing content; notify affected third parties, victims, or authorities; cooperate with law enforcement; pursue civil remedies; and report to regulators where required. For egregious, repeated, or unlawful violations, immediate termination without prior notice is reserved.
7. No Refunds for AUP Termination
If your account is terminated for violation of this AUP, you are not entitled to a refund of fees paid, and you remain liable for fees due, except as required by law.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes are notified per the Terms. Continued use after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance.
